So far there have been 9 seasons of family guy and Seth has bought a 4 year contract until 2015 meaning there should be 17 seasons unless he gets a longer contract in about 2 years. my personal favorite season is season 8 as it has the funniest jokes and the best write ups but that's just my decision yours is all in your head
